I also think of swimming, though the pools up here are all indoors. So I will settle for beaches with lot of seaglass!
Something I made to commemorate both beaches and flowers.....Lampwork flower by Marianna Boylan, which was sent as part of my earlier Bead Soup.
Yellow sea glass from ZNETshows.
I enjoyed making the necklace that has some awesome Summer Elements in it. Thank you, Rita! I can't wait to see what everyone else is celebrating as their Summer Element--take a look at all the participants below, and you can see, too! Have fun!!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful design, have a wonderful summer!
ReplyDeleteYou 'translated' the pictures of the flowers into a lovely necklace♥. I love the colour of the sea glass!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty, summery and sweet!!! Love the sea glass and the flower!! Nice design! Have a Blessed day!!!
ReplyDeleteGina, your post is golden! ;) Love the sunny colorway of everything -- the beautiful Arizona mountain flowers, your art bead from Marianna Boylan, the sea glass beach, and oh, that gorgeous necklace of yours!
ReplyDeleteThe flower photography is lovely. My breath was taken away by the first image of the yellow rose, and I love the wild flowers growing -- are they echinecea? So pretty.
I have wanted to create a gold and yellow necklace for a long time. I love that you've done so for our Summer celebration. It's amazing!
The Marianna Boylan lampwork flower is as pretty as your mountain flowers. I love that it is from your Bead Soup.:)Last year, I used Star Girl lampwork too in my Bead soup jewelry -- I had some in my secret treasures stash, and added it to quartz crystal my partner gave me. Isn't her work wonderful?
Beautiful lampwork in a beautiful necklace -- the sea glass, asymmetrical design and sparkling crystal drops are full of style and your work just glows! Fantastic. I'm totally inspired to follow my dreams of yellow jewelry now. Thank you, Gina.
Love,
Rita
Wowsers, I am loving on your flower pictures, (I posted some for my blog hop, too!), and that seaglass necklace. :) It's all beautiful!
