About Me

Freestyle Elements: Snowflake, Arizona, United States; Hi, I'm Gina Hockett, and I live in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona with my husband, teenaged son, and 5 feline housemates. My daughter-in-law took me bead shopping in 2010, starting a love of designing and making jewelry. I haven't found my "niche" yet, but find I am drawn more and more to working with metals, especially copper, bronze, and especially brass, using good quality brass stampings. I enjoy sewing and quilting, often making my own patterns from scratch. Since my grandson has been diagnosed with celiac disease, experimenting with gluten free cooking takes up any spare time after working full-time as a registered nurse.
