The following earrings were created for the AJE Earring Challenge for weeks 5 and 6. Working along on this earring challenge has been a great creative boost, trying to challenge myself each week to come up with new, original and different designs. Sometimes the end results never make the published page, as some designs just didn't work well. Here are the two that I came up with the last two weeks.
The first pair consist of hand-cut 24g copper, etched, then colored with patina from
Metal Me This
The second pair was designed around two ceramic charms from Janel Goolsby. Shades of purple crystal and seed beads were added, along with handmade earwires.
Love the way you used the patina. Both pairs of earrings are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe patina is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt is visible from the lovely earrings that a lot of hard work has been put in to it.
